Clarity in one Blood Draw:

Tutivia is a non-invasive blood test that your care team orders, that will help them better understand the risk of acute rejection of your transplanted kidney. Through early detection, your care team will be better able to take proactive steps to bring you back to health.

The Path to Clarity

Your genes express signals in the form of RNA. Those signals can fluctuate based on how your body adapts to certain changes or issues. Tutivia can help measure these changes to detect the risk of organ rejection more proactively, allowing your care team to take earlier action.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tutivia is a blood test that helps your care team check if your transplanted kidney may be at risk of rejection. It uses advanced technology to measure immune signals in your blood. The results are shared as a risk score—low or high—to help guide care decisions early after transplant.

The transplant team will determine the right time to order a Tutivia test, but a sample for Tutivia can be drawn anytime post-transplant, even as early as the first week.

Tutivia is a standard blood test that can be drawn on its own or alongside other tests ordered by the transplant team at your transplant center lab. If you can’t visit the clinic, a mobile service can collect your sample at home. Once collected, the sample is sent to our lab, where it’s analyzed and returned as a risk score to help your care team assess the chance of kidney rejection.

RNA carries instructions from your DNA and plays a vital role in converting genetic information into signals that reflect what’s happening in the body. Tutivia uses RNA to detect early signs of immune system activation, which may indicate that the body is starting to reject the transplanted kidney—possibly before symptoms appear.

A Tutivia risk score of 50 or below indicates a low risk of acute rejection, while a score above 50 is associated with a high risk of acute rejection.
